Inside Sales Representative
We are currently looking for an experienced inside sales representative to prospect for possible clients and schedule preset appointments and meetings with key marketing and advertising decision makers. Inside sales representatives work closely with our account managers to research target accounts, build business development scripts/letters, schedule phone meetings and in-person appointments with qualified leads.
Position Overview:
Powered seeks experienced inside sales representatives with proven outbound business to business telephone sales experience. This position will be responsible for researching and prospecting targeted companies to find key decision makers in marketing, advertising and product management. You must be willing and able to make outbound telephone sales calls and be able to schedule meetings and appointments for our field sales reps. We will provide a comprehensive training, effective prospecting tools and ideas, sales collateral, a proven sales methodology and continual training and support. Job Responsibilities:
- Candidate will be responsible for qualifying key decision makers with the goal to secure meetings for our field sales reps.
- Research and gain a basic understanding of prospective clients, key contacts, media purchases, and business needs.
- Develop business development prompters, emails and letters with help from marketing and field sales reps
- Make initial contacts with marketing, product and online managers and other key C-level decision makers across target accounts
- Nurture prospects through the selling process via email, direct mail and phone
- Effectively communicate the value of Powered's solution and services as they relate to prospective client needs
- Ensure target database is up-to-date for accuracy in weekly reporting
- Work with marketing to create outbound prospecting campaigns
- Follow-up with inbound inquiries that marketing generates through campaigns
- Stay abreast of competitive offerings and latest news as it relates to social marketing, social commerce and social networking
Requirements:
- 3+ years of inside sales experience in the professional services/solutions arena
- A proven track record for setting appointments and qualifying opportunities over the phone
- Experience in prospecting into marketing organizations preferred, but not mandatory
- Experience in effectively managing a number of accounts
- An undergraduate degree required. Masters level education or other advanced learning is a plus

- Mastery of phone sales skills, including building relationships, navigating past gatekeepers, creating interest at all levels of prospect organization and processing information during an interactive business conversation.
