Austin, TX — January 23, 2007 — Powered, the leading provider of online consumer education programs for Global 2000 brands, today announced that Ron Green has been appointed as Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Green, who brings over 14 years of experience of steering products to widespread commercial use, will immediately assume responsibility for all aspects of product design, architecture, and development at Powered. Powered's technology platform currently powers online consumer education courses and learning centers for Atkins, BusinessWeek, Circuit City, Proctor and Gamble, Radio Shack, Sony, and other major consumer brands.

Prior to joining Powered, Mr. Green led engineering efforts at several well-known e-commerce companies, including Question Technologies and Living.com. At Orillion, a leader in telecommunications monitoring systems, he led development and deployment of its distributed management systems for some of the world's largest carriers, including WorldCom and KDDI. One of the first employees at Visible Genetics, he helped build it into a publicly traded company and leader in the emerging field of pharmacogenomics. Mr. Green has a B.A. in Computer Sciences from the University of Texas, Austin and an MSC in Adaptive Systems from the University of Sussex, England.

"Powered runs consumer-facing programs for some of the world's largest brands," said Mr. Green. "It is very exciting to develop and manage a product that is used by over 6 million people worldwide and I look forward to continuing to roll out product innovations that benefit marketers and consumers alike."
