Powered Names Buck Krawczyk Vice President of Marketing

Industry Veteran Embraces Opportunity to Transform Marketing Mix of Global Brands By Using Online Consumer Education to Drive Sales

Austin, Texas — May 1, 2006 — Powered, the market and technology leader in online consumer education, today announced the appointment of Buck Krawczyk to the position of vice president of marketing. Krawczyk brings more than 25 years of strategic marketing experience to the Powered executive team. As the new vice president of marketing, Krawczyk will be responsible for developing and leading the company's product and corporate marketing initiatives to meet the surging demand for new channels that cut through advertising clutter by delivering relevant and valuable information to consumers.

Krawczyk has also held global executive marketing roles at Vignette Corporation and General Magic. Earlier, he was the vice president of global operations for Hodkins Simone & Searls, now Publicis Technology, where he managed worldwide operations.
