Technical Services Web Developer

The Technical Services Web Developer will be responsible for implementing all of the user experience elements of a client's PowerCenter. Using XHTML, CSS and industry-standard design and implementation best practices, the designer will work with the team to translate the client brand's look and feel to an online consumer education experience.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Ability to use CSS & semantic XHTML to create cross-browser compatible, eye-catching designs
  • Solid understanding of web standards, usability, and accessibility
  • Advanced knowledge of JavaScript
  • Advanced knowledge of server-side scripting language
  • Advanced web design skills, with a portfolio of active sites
  • Advanced understanding of usability-focused web design
  • Code samples required, demonstrating good coding practices
  • Experience with using Photoshop with layered files
  • Experience with Illustrator

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

  • Previous development in a multi-tier web application environment
  • Experience with JSP development
  • Familiarity with AJAX
  • Experience with Flash
  • Experience designing and implementing HTML emails
  • Experience CVS or other source-control system
  • Experience developing and documenting group-wide best practices
